If you’ve ever played Assassin’s Creed, you probably remember the freerunning minigames you’d play during some of the more relaxed moments in the game. You might not have realized it, but those segments were actually a precursor to something much bigger. In the Assassin’s Creed series, you play as a member of the Brotherhood of Assassins. In each game, you use stealth tactics, weapons, and free running to take out your targets. While the series has expanded over the years, the original freerunning minigames are still there. Ubisoft has now revealed that the game’s developers have taken those ideas and created a huge virtual world around them. That world is called Freerunner.
Assassin’s Creed Freerunners is a game where you must avoid being caught by the guards by jumping from rooftop to rooftop. If a guard catches you, you’re done for. The goal is to survive as long as possible. You can equip different weapons such as knifes, pipes, bats and many others to kill the guards. If you die, you lose and have to restart the level. The game isn’t that difficult but it gets a little challenging, especially when you try to finish all the levels with 3 stars. The game is a runner where you can play it either on your own or with your friends. You can choose to play the game while waiting in a queue at the grocery store or while you’re stuck in traffic. You can play with your friends either locally or online.
The new mobile game based on the legendary series Assassin’s Creed is finally here. The game features the same fast-paced, arcade-style gameplay fans of the franchise know and love, but for the first time, players can now form a team of up to four friends and take on the role of their own Assassin. The game’s “Freerunner” mode tasks players with completing various assassination quests while navigating through the game’s massive open world, collecting loot and battling famous Assassins from throughout Assassin’s Creed’s history. This isn’t just any game of course, as this is the official mobile adaptation of one of the most popular video games of all time. The series has already generated more than $2 billion in revenue, and with its recent iteration, Assassin’s Creed Origins, it’s no surprise that it’s also the undisputed king of mobile gaming. If you’ve got an itch for some turn-based stealth, get ready to download Assassin’s Creed: Lineage as it’s now available for free on the App Store and Google
